Paulinho – My People Want to Move (seven inch vinyl)

Cool Up Records presents My People Want to Move its new 7-inch vinyl, this time in collaboration with the talented Italian-Brazilian singer Paulinho. This single is a preview of “Humanity“, Paulinho’s new LP to be released in late 2023 under Cool Up’s production.

My People Want to Move features conscious lyrics, focusing on the people who migrate in search of a better future. A social message that is necessary nowadays, giving rise to a song in which the vocal quality and the good work of Paulinho stand out. In the instrumental section, we find a clear influence of Reggae Rockers rhythms, combining a solid bass-line and a very successful brass arrangement.

As usual, the release includes a powerful Dub version on the B-side to ensure a complete experience, evidencing the good work behind the production of the Spanish label.

The artwork design is once again the work of the talented Mr. John Vanilla. This release is sure to captivate Reggae and Sound systems lovers, and adds to Cool Up Records’ ever-growing musical legacy.
