Cool Up Records is a young independent record label which aim is to create and promote Reggae music. Founded by the producers Alameda Sound & Legalize Sound from Seville, Spain. The label debuted on 7 September 2017, with a very special single by the artist Payoh SoulRebel with whom they have published recently their first solo album entitled “What a Vibe” (January 2018).
The music of Cool Up Records stands out by their productions, always attentive to details. It is produced in Legalize Sound Studio, always working with exceptional artists who achieve a high-quality result that eventually is being appreciated by the public. Every project is developed in the studio, composing and recording exclusive music. As for the live shows o ered by the label DJs, include sessions strictly in vinyl, own productions and live dub set. The scope of the label has widened enough in Spain and just in a few months since its creation it has managed to expand internationally. Proof of this is the positive response that it is having on the genre specialized media in Europe and America, including the music of Cool Up Re- cords on Reggae radios from several countries and being their first album with Payoh SoulRebel called “What a Vibe” the main cover in the Californian magazine Irie Magazine Releases (January 2018), a Reggae music magazine with more than a half million followers around the world.
Since the first single in September 2017, they have been releasing one song monthly with artists like Dark Angel (UK), Lasai (ES) and Virtus (IT), the mentioned album with Payoh SoulRebel (ES) called “What a Vibe” and by spring will be released an album with Dark Angel (UK). They will continue working on the same procedure, “one single a month” with artists such as: Lonfingah (DE), Burian Fyah (ES), Colonel Brown (JA) , King Konsul (ES), Jay Smilee (ES) and some more, remaining unrevealed as a surprise.
