Roots Reggae Mixtape 2021

Roots Reggae Mixtape 2021 🇯🇲

Cool Up Records presents his new Roots Reggae Mixtape 2021 called Back to the Old Days.

A tribute to the history of Jamaican music, from its beginnings to our times. And also a way to remember that despite these difficult times, hopefully we will soon return to the normality we had and be able to enjoy music with live events. Thanks to great artists with whom we share a passion for this music and with the special collaboration of some Reggae legends such as Michael Prophet and Toots Hibbert, may they rest in peace, and Sister Nancy, we have been able to complete a very sincere tribute to the music that we enjoy so much.

Special mention to Alpha Pup, Sailor Smile, King Konsul, Jay Smilee, Payoh SoulRebel, Francisca, The Sherlock Horns, VirtuS, Pupa Congo, High Paw, Tenor Mario, Longfingah, Calee Arias, Irie NaNara, Burian Fyah and Coronel Brown.

Where singers from different parts of the world put their lyrics to original Jamaican riddims, showing their vocal ability and versatility.

Mixed by Mario Garcia at Legalize Sound Studio and Camden Records, we can enjoy a total of 19 tracks. The artwork as usual was made by Mr John Vanilla, where he delights us with some classic cartoon vibes from the old days but also with a fresh dash to it.
